Ten years ago when I visualized writing this little book, my objective was to have it change at least a million lives. As this will bring me the greatest joy. and despite being over a decade, my objective has not changed, on the contrary it has since intensified, gained color, dimensions, and because of this, I have evolved as a person.
You see, It is my belief that you never really get anything until you share it. As you are reading this book now, There are approximately fifteen hundred others like it. Designed to impart the wisdom myself and several others have garnered over the years, from the numerous books we've read, observations made and related, as well as experiences felt.
There are four sections as it relates to the gist of the book. It is recommended by the author that this book be read at least fifty times before the wisdom contained herein is to be partially understood. It consists of Three Messages: 1. a Story, that has deep meaning. 2. A Prayer extracted from the best motivational book ever written, The Holy Bible. & 3. A Message or series of quotations from the great minds of and before our time.
THE LION AND THE MOUSE
A Lion was awakened from sleep by a Mouse running over his face. Rising up in anger, he caught him and was about to kill him, when the Mouse piteously entreated, saying : " If you would only spare my life, I would be sure to repay your kindness." The Lion laughed and released him, having already had lunch. It happened shortly after this that the Lion was caught by some hunters, who bound him by strong ropes to the ground. The Mouse, recognizing his roar, came up, and gnawed the rope with his teeth, and setting him free, exclaimed : " You ridiculed the idea of my ever being able to help you, not expecting to receive from me any repayment of your favour ; but now you know that it is possible for even a Mouse to confer benefits on a Lion."
